A New York federal judge on Monday tossed three suits alleging federal agencies failed to conduct an environmental review of natural gas development of the Delaware River Basin before moving ahead with drafting new regulations opening the area up to hydraulic fracturing.

The federal government said Monday it would move to dismiss New York state's suit seeking to force an environmental impact study of proposed natural gas drilling in the Delaware River Basin, claiming it did not put forth the regulations at issue.
