A Colorado federal judge on Tuesday decertified a class of hundreds of employees from a suit alleging Dollar Tree Stores Inc. forced managers to work off the clock, in response to the discount retailer's unopposed argument that the employees' situations were too dissimilar to maintain the class.

A group of Dollar Tree Stores Inc. managers may proceed together in a suit accusing their employer of depriving them of overtime pay and other wages, after a Colorado federal judge on Friday ruled they had presented substantial allegations the retail chain violated federal labor law.
