    Caterpillar To Pay $2.55M Over Engine Exhaust Systems

    Caterpillar Inc. agreed Thursday to pay $2.55 million to settle the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's claims that the exhaust systems in more than 590,000 of the company's highway and off-road engines violate the Clean Air Act's emission standards.
