    $3.5M Deal Ends Nurses' Meal Break Deduction Class Action

    A Wisconsin federal judge approved a $3.5 million settlement Wednesday, in a class and collective action brought against SSM Health Care of Wisconsin Inc. on behalf of approximately 1,400 nurses who allegedly had meal periods automatically deducted from their pay despite their having to remain on duty.
