Walgreen Settles EEOC Suit Over Firing Of Diabetic Worker
A California federal judge on Tuesday approved a deal between Walgreen Co. and the U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Commission, ending a suit brought on behalf of a diabetic employee who was allegedly wrongly fired for eating an unbought bag of potato chips to stabilize her blood sugar.
