Droplets Seeks Fees, Royalty From Overstock For $15M IP Win
Droplets Inc. on Friday urged a Texas federal judge to order Overstock.com Inc. to pay it attorney's fees and an ongoing royalty of $305,000 per month through 2021 after jurors awarded Droplets $15 million in a website technology patent infringement suit against Overstock and Sears Holding Corp.

A Texas federal jury on Friday decided that Sears Holding Corp. and Overstock.com Inc. owe $15 million to Droplets Inc., in the first trial over a series of suits accusing high-profile online retailers and others of incorporating patent-infringing technology into their websites.
