    A California federal judge on Thursday preliminarily approved a settlement resolving a wage-and-hour class action on behalf of over 3,000 employees of shoe retailer DSW Inc., saying the decision to slash plaintiffs' attorneys' fees and cut an incentive award resolved his concerns about the deal.
