HoneyBaked Ham Settles EEOC Sex Bias Suit
A Colorado federal judge on Monday approved a $370,000 agreement between The Original HoneyBaked Ham Co. of Georgia Inc. and the U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Commission, settling a suit the EEOC filed on behalf of female employees who had allegedly been sexually harassed by a superior or had been penalized for reporting harassment they witnessed.

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on Wednesday sought to overturn a magistrate judge's order granting HoneyBaked Ham Co. discovery of text messages, social media accounts and emails of a class of female employees involved in a sexual harassment suit against it, saying the broad discovery order could create a "chilling effect."
