Carnival Can't Hop Aboard Airlines' Antitrust Settlement
A California district judge on Monday grounded Carnival PLC's bid for inclusion in a $175 million class action antitrust settlement against British Airways PLC and Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd., saying Carnival hadn't shown the airlines had stuck the cruise line with illegally fixed fuel surcharges.

Carnival PLC on Thursday asked a California federal court to make the cruise line company a class member in multimillion-dollar settlements of long-haul fuel surcharge price-fixing claims against British Airways PLC and Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd.
