Judge Says DOI's Preserve Committee Picks Don't Violate Law
A Florida federal judge on Thursday recommended dismissing a claim that challenges the U.S. Department of Interior's allegedly unbalanced composition of a national preserve's off-road vehicle advisory committee, saying federal statutes fail to provide a meaningful standard to judge the panel's makeup.
