A Pennsylvania federal judge Monday favored plaintiffs in a product liability suit against companies that designed, manufactured and sold a helicopter that crashed in England in 2009, deciding that Pennsylvania's law of damages — not the English version — should apply.

UK Helicopter Crash Suit To Proceed in Pa. Fed. Court
A Pennsylvania federal judge ruled Thursday that a product liability suit against a number of companies that designed, manufactured and sold a helicopter that crashed in England in 2009 can move forward, finding that the U.S. court is the appropriate venue for the suit.
