A federal judge in Illinois denied on Thursday a motion by Oleg Cassini Inc. to end a lawsuit filed by Serta Inc. seeking a ruling that the bedding maker's "Perfect Day Cassini" mattresses didn't infringe OCI's trademark.

Serta Inc. sued Oleg Cassini Inc. on Thursday, asking an Illinois federal court to rule the bedding manufacturer's space-themed line of "Perfect Day Cassini" mattresses doesn't infringe the design house's trademark.
