Hasbro Can't Kill Sales Of Asus 'Transformer' Laptops
Hasbro Inc. can't bar Asus Computer International Inc. from selling a line of tablet-to-laptop transforming computers using the name "Transformer," a California federal judge said Friday, ruling the laptops catered to a different class of purchasers than Hasbro's toy products.

Hasbro Inc. asked a California federal judge Monday to bar Asus Computer International Inc. from using the name 'Transformer' on a line of tablet-to-laptop transforming computers, saying the name infringes trademarks for the toymaker's popular shape-shifting robot franchise.
