Wells Fargo Gets Bank Transfer Patents Axed Under Alice
A Florida federal judge on Thursday nixed a suit accusing Wells Fargo NA of infringing patents covering automatic financial account transfers, ruling that the patents are invalid in light of the U.S. Supreme Court's recent Alice Corp. ruling because they claim an unpatentable abstract idea implemented with a computer.
