Judge Shreds Revised $8.5M Americredit TCPA Settlement
A federal judge on Monday shot down, for the second time, a proposed $8.5 million agreement that would settle a class action accusing Americredit Financial Services Inc. of violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, saying the deal is unfair and confusing.

Judge Rejects $6.5M Americredit Autodialing Settlement
A California federal judge on Monday rejected a proposed $6.5 million class settlement in a suit against Americredit Financial Services Inc. alleging the company broke federal law by using autodialing equipment or a prerecorded voice message to call consumers, saying it's not clear how class members will benefit.
