    Genova Diagnostics Inc. sued Great Plains Laboratory Inc. in North Carolina federal court Thursday, alleging Great Plains violated a 2005 court settlement between the companies when it allowed another lab royalty-free use of a patented autism test but collected licensing fees from Genova.
