The U.S. Air Force asked a Colorado federal court Wednesday to toss a lawsuit challenging its decision to insource construction work, arguing the labor groups bringing suit lacked standing and that the dispute belongs in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

Several labor groups on Tuesday challenged the U.S. Air Force's decision to insource construction and other services at Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado, saying that the decision has the effect of forcing laborers out of work in the absence of termination for just cause.
