Sports Fans Get OK To Bring Antitrust Suit Against NHL, MLB
The National Hockey League, Major League Baseball, Comcast Corp. and DirecTV are still on the hook for class allegations over their control of sports broadcasts, after a New York federal judge said Wednesday that viewers had plausibly alleged that the defendants hinder competition.

MLB, NHL Say Viewers Can't Demonstrate Antitrust Conduct
Major League Baseball, the National Hockey League and several of the organizations' teams and broadcasting partners on Friday sought the dismissal of class action antitrust allegations in New York federal court over the packaging of televised baseball and hockey games, saying viewers failed to allege harmful effects on the market.
