    Metabyte Competition Claim Nixed In Nvidia Trade Secrets Suit

    A California federal judge on Monday threw out part of a suit alleging that former Metabyte Inc. employees brought stolen computer code to their new employer, Nvidia Corp., saying a state unfair competition claim against Nvidia was preempted by the federal Copyright Act.
