Chipotle, Kroger Settle Trademark Row Over Chicken Labels
Grocery store chain Kroger Co. on Monday agreed to discontinue using "chipotle" to market its fried chicken in order to resolve claims by Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. that the labels sponged off the restaurant chain's goodwill and violated its trademarks.

Kroger Hit With Trademark Suit Over 'Chipotle' Chicken
Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. filed a trademark infringement suit against grocery retailer The Kroger Co. in Colorado on Friday, accusing Kroger of trying to piggyback on the restaurant chain's goodwill and reputation by putting the term "chipotle" on its chicken products.
