Sprint Communications Co. LP has asked a Delaware federal judge to deny final certification of an order in favor of Cox Communications Inc.'s argument that five Sprint Internet voice services patents were too vague, saying it hasn't had a chance to respond to the ruling.

Cox Communications Inc. won a battle against a handful of claims in five Sprint Communications Co. LP patents Friday when a Delaware federal judge agreed the claims' limitations were indefinite, granting a victory to Cox in the telecommunications companies' war over Internet voice services.
