A California federal judge on Wednesday found that Nabisco Inc. failed to prove that a proposed class action alleging that a version of Wheat Thins crackers was falsely advertised as containing 100 percent whole grains should stay in federal court.

Kraft Foods Global Inc. and subsidiary Nabisco Inc. pushed back Friday against a consumer class action alleging that a version of Wheat Thins crackers was falsely advertised as containing 100 percent whole grains, telling a California federal judge the claims were preempted by federal standards.
