Medical device maker Smith & Nephew Inc. has reached a deal to settle its $56 million trade secrets suit against its former sales managers and representatives alleging the independent contractors violated their noncompete agreements by taking jobs with a rival, according documents filed Thursday in Tennessee federal court.
