Texas medical device manufacturer Orthofix International NV will pay nearly $7.5 million to resolve allegations it violated the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act when a subsidiary bribed Mexican government officials with cash and gifts to win business from publicly owned hospitals, U.S. authorities said Tuesday.
