German Bank Unit's $40M MBS Claim Loses On All Fronts
A Luxembourgish unit of Landesbank Baden-Wuerttemberg that sued Wells Fargo Securities LLC over claims that it had been sold $40 million of notes backed by mortgages that Wells Fargo's predecessor secretly knew to be duds had its suit killed on Thursday, with a judge concluding that documents had vindicated the defendants.
