AEP To Partially Shut Down Indiana Coal-Fired Power Plant
American Electric Power Corp. has agreed to retire 1,300 megawatts of coal-fired power at its plant in Rockport, Indiana, by the end of 2028 and make additional investments in emissions reductions as part of an amendment to a 2007 Clean Air Act settlement.

AEP Will Refuel Or Retire 3 Coal-Fired Power Plants
American Electric Power Corp. has agreed to refuel or retire three coal-fired power plants in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio by 2015 and pay an additional $8.5 million as part of a revision of a 2007 settlement of a Clean Air Act suit, government officials and environmental groups said Monday.
