International Paper Pollution Suits Too Vague, Judge Says
A South Carolina federal judge on Monday tossed two suits, including a putative class action, alleging International Paper Co. discharged toxic pollutants into the environment in Georgetown, saying they were too vague and failed to support claims of personal injury or property damage.
