Microsoft Faces IP Suit Over Windows 'Live Tiles'
Microsoft Corp. was hit Tuesday with a lawsuit in Maine federal court lodged by operating system design company SurfCast Inc., which claims its interface patent is infringed by the "live tiles" technology built into the Windows 8 and Windows Phone 7 operating systems.
