Smith & Wesson Says Insurer Must Cover FCPA, Other Cases
Gunmaker Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. on Tuesday sued National Union Fire Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh, Pa., in Massachusetts federal court, saying the insurer denied it rightful coverage for various legal actions, including a shareholder suit over the company's allegedly ineffective Foreign Corrupt Practices Act controls as well as an FCPA criminal case.
