A Maryland federal judge freed Pennsylvania Manufacturers' Association Insurance Co. from covering AC&R Insulation Co.'s damages from hundreds of asbestos lawsuits, finding Friday that the insulation installer waited too long to file its claims.

Insulation Co. Demands Asbestos Coverage From PMA
AC&R Insulation Co. Inc. asked a Maryland federal court Friday to declare that Pennsylvania Manufacturers Association Insurance Co. has a duty to cover the insulation installer's damages from numerous asbestos lawsuits, arguing that there are no applicable policy exceptions that preclude excess liability coverage.
