    Ex-Dewey Partner Can't Sue Barclays In Federal Court

    A New York federal judge ruled Wednesday that a former Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP partner can't sue Barclays Bank PLC in federal court over a loan the bank claims he accepted to fund his capital account at the defunct law firm, saying the plaintiff asserted only "garden-variety" state law contract and tort claims.
