A Delaware bankruptcy judge on Monday signed off on joint Chapter 11 plans for Dex One Corp. and SuperMedia Inc., sealing a merger of the two Yellow Pages publishers that has been more than two years in the making.

Dex One Corp. and SuperMedia Inc. took a step toward their anticipated merger Tuesday as a Delaware bankruptcy judge approved a series of first-day motions intended to keep the Yellow Pages publishers running smoothly ahead of a Chapter 11 confirmation hearing next month.
