A Michigan federal judge on Friday tossed Hantz Financial Services Inc.'s indemnification suit against two American International Group Inc. units for losses stemming from a former employee's $2.6 million theft of client funds, saying the losses weren't covered because the employee stole the funds from clients and not directly from Hantz.
