DLA Joins Apple Defense As Emblaze IP Suit Heads to Trial
Apple Inc. has doubled its defense in Israeli software firm Emblaze Ltd.'s suit accusing the tech giant of infringing a streaming technology patent, adding a team of DLA Piper attorneys to its stable of Greenberg Traurig LLP counsel in the run-up to a June trial, according to court filings Friday.

Emblaze Demands Apple Sales, License Docs in Patent Fight
Emblaze Ltd. urged a California federal judge Tuesday to force Apple Inc. to fork over documents describing U.S. sales for its live-streaming technology as well as patent-licensing strategies, which Emblaze said it needs to determine how much Apple should pay for allegedly infringing its own streaming tech patent.
