Yahoo Inc. on Friday renewed its bid for immediate judgment in a proposed class action alleging its now-defunct email alert text messaging system violated the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act by sending unsolicited texts, telling a Pennsylvania federal judge the service never had the ability to generate numbers randomly.
