A McDonald's USA LLC franchisee will pay an undisclosed amount of money to settle allegations that it shafted nearly 2,300 employees out of overtime payment by shaving hours from their workdays, following a New York federal judge's approval Tuesday.

McDonald's Corp. and one of its franchisees were hit with a proposed class action in New York federal court Monday alleging that more than a dozen upstate New York McDonald's restaurants doctored employees' shift records to shave time off their workdays.
