A Kansas federal judge Thursday grounded class claims accusing airplane part manufacturer Spirit Aerosystems Inc. of deceiving investors over the success of its cost-cutting measures prior to a $590 million shortfall, saying the optimistic statements shareholders identified as misdirecting were too vague to be material.
