The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday said a convicted father and son team who ran a $4.3 million Ponzi scheme disguised as being affiliated with investment firm Paulson & Co. Inc. have agreed to consent judgments against them, after being sentenced to prison for fraud.
