Meat Industry Drops Challenge To Origin Labeling Rules
Meat and poultry groups attempting to block stricter U.S. Department of Agriculture country-of-origin labeling regulations will not pursue their claims after suffering repeated defeats, according to a stipulation of dismissal filed in D.C. federal court Monday.

Meat Industry Loses Bid To Stop US Labeling Changes
A federal judge on Wednesday swatted away a bid from meat and poultry groups in the U.S., Mexico and Canada to halt the U.S. Department of Agriculture's efforts to implement new meat labeling regulations, finding that the groups were not likely to convince the court that the rules were unconstitutional.
