    Enbridge Settles US Suit Over Minn. Pipeline Discharges

    Enbridge Inc. agreed to pay nearly a half million dollars to the U.S. government under a settlement entered in federal court on Tuesday, shutting down accusations that discharges from its pipeline testing operations in Minnesota polluted lakes and eroded hillsides, in violation of the Clean Water Act.
