Google, Viacom Strike Deal To End YouTube Copyright Row
Google Inc. on Tuesday settled a long-running copyright suit in which Viacom Inc. had accused the search engine giant of enabling the streaming of its television programs on YouTube, a case many thought could provide guidance on the Digital Millennium Copyright Act's safe harbor provisions.

Professors Side With YouTube In $1B Viacom Copyright Case
A group of professors who teach copyright law on Friday filed an amicus brief asking the Second Circuit to find that Viacom International Inc. is disrupting the balance struck by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act with its $1 billion suit against Google Inc.'s YouTube.
