    Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp. on Tuesday fought a $250,000 verdict in multidistrict litigation over injuries allegedly caused by the bone drug Zometa, arguing to the Eleventh Circuit that it should not be held liable when the prescribing doctor failed to read the medication's warning.
