The Eighth Circuit on Thursday affirmed the dismissal of a class action accusing H&R Block Enterprises LLC of illegally refusing to pay tax professionals for training time, agreeing with a lower court that the workers were not employees of the firm during the training.

H&R Block Inc. on Friday urged the Eighth Circuit to uphold the dismissal of a class action accusing it of illegally refusing to pay tax professionals for training time, saying the workers are not employees of the firm during the training.
