    Fed. Circ. Backs Invalidation Of Accenture Software Patent

    The Federal Circuit on Thursday affirmed a lower court's invalidation of an Accenture Global Services GmbH software patent in its lawsuit against rival Guidewire Software Inc., saying the asserted claims covering a program for handling insurance-related tasks don't rise above the level of abstract concepts.
