4th Circ. Revives Purdue Pharma OxyContin FCA Row
The Fourth Circuit on Thursday revived a qui tam lawsuit accusing Purdue Pharma LP of violating the False Claims Act by falsely marketing painkiller OxyContin, vacating a lower court's ruling that had tossed the case for being virtually identical to a previous one that was dismissed after being brought by the relator's husband.
