    Mars Can't Escape Claims In False Labeling Suit

    A California federal judge on Tuesday refused to toss claims brought against Mars Inc. in a proposed consumer class action claiming the chocolate producer's package labeling is "misbranded" because of allegedly misleading nutrient and calorie claims, saying they aren't preempted by the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
