Sanofi Allowed To Scrap Pain Cream Contract, Judge Says
An Illinois federal judge on Monday pared a $20 million lawsuit accusing Sanofi-Aventis Canada Inc. of failing to market and sell Elorac Inc.'s cream to treat osteoarthritis, rejecting claims that Sanofi breached the parties' contract by terminating it prematurely, but also refusing to let the company off the hook for allegedly miscalculating the royalties it owed.
