Target Slip-And-Fall Plaintiff Wins Mostly Blame, Little Money
A Florida federal jury on Friday found that Target Corp.'s negligence was a factor in a Miami woman's slip-and-fall accident at one of its stores, but assigned the lion's share of the blame to her, leaving the plaintiff with a $12,000 award that is significantly short of the big box retailer's earlier proposal to settle her suit for $100,000.
