    Mercedes-Benz U.S. International Inc. and Best Buy Co. Inc. were slapped with patent infringement suits in Texas federal court Thursday by a subsidiary of nonpracticing entity Acacia Research Corp. that alleges the companies ripped off patented display-screen components.
