A New York federal judge on Tuesday consolidated four proposed class actions alleging Chinese online video game company Giant Interactive Group Inc.'s planned $3 billion go-private deal with a consortium that includes its board chairman and private equity backers bilks shareholders.

A Giant Interactive Group Inc. shareholder filed a putative class action against the Chinese online video game company in New York federal court on Monday, saying it's trying to rip off shareholders in its $3 billion bid to go private.
